Origin Story

Looking back at the year 2020 when the pandemic had hit hard, we at Udhyam were navigating the implications of what it would mean for our learners and their families. Questions like how to navigate & thrive such difficult times in a fast changing world took the forefront.

 

 The goal is to enable learners who are driven by curiosity and eager to take charge of their future think entrepreneurially by applying 21st century skills in the real-world.

 

At Udhyam StepUp we are inspired by Nobel Laureate Edmund Phelps’ theory on mass dynamism of being entrepreneurial. What parents, educational institutions and governments are starting to notice and act on, is not just how to school learners, but really, how are we making them future ready?

 

StepUp is a way to compliment learners’ education with experiential learning so they are equipped to harness mindsets like grit, independence, being self aware and trying new things; that are more commonly recognize in entrepreneurs.
